Beware the Sin You Raise

Sin begins with desire and, if not rejected, grows until it destroys the one who nurtures it. James warns that sin is like a lion cub—appearing harmless at first but deadly when fully grown. When we entertain sinful thoughts instead of evicting them, they weaken conviction and take root in our hearts. God’s warnings are not to deprive us of joy but to spare us from death, offering true pleasure and freedom through His grace.
